- Chancellor to Recommend Dr. Merodie Anne Hancock
SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher announced that she will recommend to the SUNY Board of Trustees that Dr. Merodie Anne Hancock be appointed as president of Empire State College. - Summer Saratoga Event Dates Announced.
July 26 will be our annual day at Saratoga Race Course and August 16 will be our evening at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Details coming soon, please hold the dates.

Deborah Karpel is a jazz, old-time country, pop, and Klezmer-singing, classically-trained opera diva who came up through the ranks of comic improvisation and sings in nine languages.
Deborah’s early influences include Benny Goodman, Liltin’ Martha Tilton, Dinah Washington, Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday, Joni Mitchell, Laura Nyro, Sandy Denny, Patsy Cline, Dinah Shore, and Debbie Harry.
