Profile:	In 2009, Ellis moved to Denver, CO and opened her own business, Leap Dance Studio! While residing in New York City for ten years, she performed in musicals, danced with the Amir Levi Dance Company, choreographed, and taught ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and modern and graduated from the The Ailey School with a concentration in ballet and modern dance. Ellis grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota studying dance at Prima School of Dancing.
More Info:	After training professionally at the Academy of Ballet in San Francisco, she moved to New York City. She later completed a BA in Dance from SUNY Empire State College, where she focused her studies on dance, child development, and business. After graduating from Empire State College, my husband and I moved to Denver, CO. Six months ago I opened my own business, Leap Dance Studio. Currently there are over 100 students enrolled in classes and the first spring recital is coming up in May. Much of the preparation for this business was manifested during my studies and classwork at Empire State College. With the help and guidance of wonderful professors and many hours of hard work, Leap Dance Studio is already a success!
