Civil War Learning Program for Alumni

Each spring, a Civil War History Residency is offered, under the direction of Dr. Gregory Edwards of the Niagara Frontier Center’s Jamestown Unit.

As part of our new alumni travel and learn program, alumni are cordially invited to attend this hands on field trip to Civil War battlefields under the mentorship of Dr. Edwards.

This is an excellent opportunity to visit our national battlefields and network with students who will be actively presenting at the various locations. Alumni will participate in a four-day field trip to Manassas, Gettysburg and Antietam.

The fee is $395 per person, which includes tour bus transportation, meals and lodging (3 overnights). Alumni will be responsible for getting themselves to and from one of our bus pick-up stations in Jamestown, NY; Corning, NY; or near Harrisburg, PA. Sign up is first come first serve by January 4.
