Travel and Learn Programs

Empire State College is pleased to offer alumni a travel and learn program.  We offer a number of educational trips both abroad and in the United States.  In 2006, alumni traveled to Italy and experienced the culture, history and art of this beautiful country.  Alumni were also able to enroll in a cooking class in Tuscany.

In 2008, we traveled to the Netherlands focusing on WW II history as well as its art and architecture.  Alumni were able to enroll in a ceramics class at the Delft factory as well as visit Keukenhof Gardens, working windmills and the Anne Frank House.  A day trip to Bruges, Belgium was also included.

Also in 2008, alumni and guests joined students at their Civil War residency with one of our professors, Dr. Gregory Edwards.  This is an excellent opportunity to visit our national battlefields at Manassas, Gettysburg and Antietam and network with students who will be actively presenting at the various locations.
