Empire State College offers alumni two inexpensive options to take online non-credit classes to further their learning experience.

Empire State College Alumni Course

Empire State College offers alumni special alumni courses. These online courses are non-credit and taught in the same online environment and by the same instructors in your previous courses while a student at Empire State College.

Featured Alumni Course:  21st Century Careers

Term: 8 weeks
Start Date: Fall 2008
Registration period: To be announced
Cost: $75

In this eight-week course, students examine projected employment trends of the 21st century, predict the effect of these trends on their own careers, identify reliable sources of occupational and job information and use these sources to design personal career goals and a job-advancement, job-search, or career-change plan. Issues such as career definition in the 21st century and the importance of developing new skills for a changing environment will be addressed.

Education to Go Courses

Empire State College also offers a series of over 400 new, non credit online courses as a service to our alumni! Update your skills, discover a new talent, or chart a career path at your own pace and at your convenience with our new instructor-supported and independent study online courses.

These courses are provided by Education to Go, an education business partner and are non-credit online courses covering a wide variety of subject matter. Most courses cost $99.
