The Early Childhood Conference: Exploring Literacy and Play

Description: In this residency, alumni and students will learn strategies for implementing activities to enhance literacy development.
More Info: Strong National Museum of Play experts will combine current research on learning through play with the theory of multiple intelligences to create active learning experiences that are applicable to the classroom. Participants will explore emergent literacy, vocabulary development, understanding the purposes of reading, awareness of print and literacy concepts. Registration and breakfast at 8:30 a.m. The conference will begin at 9:00 a.m.
