Last year, Tina Evans ’97, and her husband, Wayne, offered $25,000 to establish the Evans Challenge to encourage donors to support The Fund for Empire State College. It was such an immediate success that the Challenge was expanded to $40,000 in the Fall.
It came as no surprise that our alumni and employees responded generously, topping all our expectations and far exceeding our goal of $40,000. More than $55,000 was raised from over 1,200 donors.
Thank you to all who participated in the Evans Challenge, and a special thank you to Tina and Wayne for their support in creating the Challenge.
