Empire State College Foundation Scholarships are available to students thanks to the generosity of alumni, employees, foundations and friends of the college who have chosen to recognize the importance of education by establishing and contributing to scholarship funds. We thank our generous contributors for making education possible for many of our students.
Please be advised that the following criteria must be met to be eligible for all Empire State College scholarships unless otherwise indicated in the scholarship-specific guidelines:
- Student must have financial need as determined by the FAFSA (must be submitted by April 1)
- Student must be matriculated and have completed at least 8 credits with Empire State College
- Student must have the appropriate GPA indicating successful academic progress
- Student must have completed at least 80% of the course work they’ve enrolled themselves in (this means no more than 20% of the courses you’ve enrolled in can be incompletes, no credits, administrative withdrawals, etc.)
All Empire State College students must complete the FAFSA form by April 1 to be eligible to receive scholarships.
Both part-time and full-time students are eligible.
