Learners First
The Campaign for Empire State College 2003 - 2008

A message from Alan R. Davis, President
Success in Challenging Times
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We couldn’t have done it without you! We knew when Empire State College began the Learners First Campaign that it was the most ambitious fundraising campaign in the college’s history and that raising our goal of $51.5 million would be a challenge. Now, looking back, we are amazed at what we all have achieved. Alumni, faculty, staff and friends have accomplished the unimaginable together. We are grateful for your generous and loyal support.
Given the fiscal challenges our country is now facing, many of our students will endure immense hardships in the coming months. Support like yours will allow us to continue to provide students with essential scholarships and academic programs that meet the evolving needs of our communities and our nation. Together we can sustain the success of the Learners First Campaign and ensure that Empire State College remains a leader in serving adult learners.
