In 2008, over 300 current, retired and former employees of Empire State College donated more than $81,000 to the Empire State College Foundation.  This reflects the commitment and belief our employees have in the mission of Empire State College – to enable motivated adults, regardless of where they live or work, to undertake a rigorous academic program and earn a university degree.

We know we are doing the right thing when we hear statements from alumni such as Yalin Deng Diao, who said, “I really appreciate Empire State College – where the impossible becomes the possible.”
