Student Graduating

For many Empire State College students, a scholarship is what makes the difference

between earning their degree and putting it on hold again due to financial constraints.  A

contribution in support of student scholarships is one of the most powerful ways you can help students. We are proud to have awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships last year.  This would not have been possible without the generous support of our donors.

Alumni and friends looking to have a direct impact on our students often choose to establish a scholarship that will support students needing assistance to continue their studies. Creating a named endowed scholarship is also a wonderful way to continue the legacy of a loved one or honor family members.

The sense of pride donors feel when they have the opportunity to meet their student recipients at events or graduation is evident.  Seeing first hand the difference their generous support makes in the lives of our students is a powerful reminder that their decision to establish a scholarship has indeed changed lives.

For more information about how you can change the lives of our students and their families by creating student scholarships, please contact Toby Tobrocke, Director of Development, at Toby.Tobrocke@esc.edu or by phone at (800) 847-3000, ext. 2793.

Quotation Mark I also think the college's mission is an important one - even more so as economic conditions and war put so many adults in need of what the college has to offer. Quotation Mark
