About the Campaign

In a way that is unmatched elsewhere in higher education, Empire State College is meeting the needs of adult learners who seek better jobs and careers, richer intellectual lives, and the sophisticated skills that are essential to be knowledgeable citizens of the nation and the world.

2008 marks the final year of what we anticipate will be the successful completion of the comprehensive Learners First campaign. This campaign will assure the college’s standing as the nation’s premier college for adults for many decades to come. We must now make critical investments:

to extend access to more adult learners
to recognize and celebrate outstanding academic performance
to enhance the capabilities of our faculty and staff
to add new programs and support services and
to develop a physical and technological infrastructure that will sustain future growth.
