Why did you choose Empire State College? What do you think is the best thing about the college?
When I first enrolled at Empire State College, I had the time to juggle my work, studies and personal life. The flexibility of courses and schedule allowed me to maintain my work and focus on my studies most of the time. Empire State College is a unique experience for all working students.
How did Empire State College help you shape your personal and professional goals?
It really helped to boost my self-motivation and self-learning skills because of all the research related to my courses and assignments.
What is your career highlight or proudest career moment to date?
As a managing director and owner for JgH – Architects, I had to compete with larger and more well known interior architecture offices in a small Lebanese market niche. When you have the strong will and persistence, however, you reach your goals and become known as the company that can be distinguished from others through its simplicity and creativity in designs.
What advice would you give to a current Empire State College student?
Enjoy all aspects of learning and you will profit the most from the very professional experience and well committed professors.
Anything else you would like to share with fellow alumni and students?
As an international alumnus I was able to visit the campus location in Saratoga Springs this fall. I recommend that this is a must visit for all students and alumni if you have not already been.
