Description: The Black Male Initiative is honored to present an afternoon discussion with Special Keynote Speaker Major General, Alfred K. Flowers, the longest serving active duty African American in all branches in the history of the Defense Department and the longest serving airman in US Air Force history.
More Info: General Flowers will be introduced by ESC's Executive by Vice President for Administration, Joseph Garcia who is a retired Lt. Colonel of the U.S. Air Force.

General Flowers will discuss the many obstacles he overcame in his professional and academic journey as well as offer advice for success. Lunch will be served during the program.

Additionally he will be signing copies of his book "Reflections of a Servant Leader."

Students must RSVP in order to receive a free copy of his book. Others will be able to purchase books for $10.00.
